Polypropylene fibre for reducing concrete’s shrinkage cracks
 
PP-FASER is a synthetic fibre designed for reducing the crack formation in concrete and mortar through improving its resistance to plastic shrinkage cracking. Having good dispersing properties PP-FASER can be distributed easily and homogeneously in three dimensions. The degree of fibre finesse and its frequency of occurrence in concrete attains and homogeneous stress spread in concrete and minimizes shrinkage and stress cracks significantly. PP-FASER improves concrete’s fire resisting properties, optimizes its freeze-thawing resistance, minimizes water penetration into the hardened concrete and increases its flexural and tensile strength. The low-weight fibre shows a good tear resistance, is chemically neutral to cements, admixtures and fillers. PP-FASER provides protection against wear at mixing and processing tools.
